The Heart & Hands Behind Optionmomentumway
Founded in 2012 by Charlotte Whitfield, Optionmomentumway began as a tiny pop-up stall at a bustling Melbourne flea market. What started as a spark of floral obsession has blossomed into one of the city's most boutique design studios, cherished by couples and corporate visionaries alike.
Today, our atelier is home to fifteen highly skilled floral artists, event consultants, horticulturists and engineers, all united by a common ethos: beauty must be thoughtful, design must be personal. We treat each project — no matter its size — as a unique canvas for authentic creativity. With every stem we source, we commit to sustainable local growers and ethically imported gems. With every arrangement we style, we infuse your story into the petals, textures and silhouettes.

From Flea Market to Floral Landmark

2012 — A Bold Beginning
Charlotte sells her first 15 hand-tied bouquets from a tiny stall at the Rose Street Market in Fitzroy. The stall sells out within two hours and Optionmomentumway is born.
2014 — Studio Door Opens
After producing flowers for two intimate rooftop weddings, we open our design studio on Smith Street, Collingwood, bringing on our first two full-time florists.
2017 — A Decade of Recognition
We win our first "Best Wedding Florist Victoria" award, followed by back-to-back gold medals at the Melbourne International Flower Show. The phone hasn't stopped ringing since.
2020 — Sustainability at our Core
We go fully carbon-neutral, ban single-use plastics, and we introduce our community flower donation program that has since gifted over 30,000 stems.
2023 — Bourke Street Atelier
We move into a beautiful sun-drenched space in the heart of Melbourne CBD on Bourke Street — a fragrant oasis offering bespoke bridal consultations, corporate workshops and floral art exhibitions.

Our 15-person team continues to create awe-inspiring installations, from editorial shoots to luxury hotel lobbies. We are proud to help write beautiful floral stories across Australia.
